The State Oil Company announced that the Norwegian company Simek received the vessel CД°TADEL, which will be used for provision of marine jackets in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian. It is the second vessel, built at the order of the Alliance Caspian Sea Oil Fleet - BUE Caspian, Trend reports.
The vessel was upgraded and equipped with dynamic position system. The vessel will be used within the framework of BP's contract in Azerbaijan.
In the beginning of September the alliance received in Singapore a new vessel Baku to carry out rescue work. Both vessels were provided with advanced equipment and have no analogue in the Caspian. The vessels have will arrive in Baku in November 2006.
