Р’Р  Announce Volumes of Reserves on Company's Largest Deposits

The total volume of hydrocarbon on the block of field, Azeri-Chiragh-Gunashli (ACG) and gas condensate field, Shahdaniz, which production has already been sanctioned by the shareholders, has reached 6.1 bln. barrels of oil equivalent, Trend reports quoting a presentation being placed on the official website of BP, who is the operator of the above-mentioned projects.

The document states that the unproved volume of hydrocarbon reserves on ACG and Shahdaniz Fields reached 7.6 bln. barrels of oil equivalent. The volume of the production produced has reached 400 mln. barrels of oil equivalent.

The presentation notes state that the commission of Phase 3 of ACG Project is expected to take place in 2008. Some 1.2 mln. barrels of oil per day are expected to be produced from ACG in 2010.

The total projected capacity of the platforms installed on the central, eastern, and western sections of Azeri Field is 1.1 mln. barrels of oil and 1.2 bln. ft. of gas per day.

The reserves of ACG, which have been sanctioned to be further developed reached 5.4 bln. barrels. The total capital cost of the project is $17 bln.
