The Operating Company Salyan Oil has begun drilling the first exploitation well in 2007 in the Kursangi-Garabagli onshore field, Trend reports quoting the Company. The drilling of the well with the project depth of 3,500 meters will be complete in January-February 2007. In addition, the Company will continue drilling the wells launched last year. The Company faced many technical difficulties during its activities. The Operating Committee of Salyan Oil adopted the budget of 2007 operations in the amount of $43mln. Next year it is planned to drill 5 production wells each with the project depth of 3,500 meters.
