Azerbaijan , Baku /корр. Trend S.Aliyev/ The launch of a new electric station in Baku has improved the quality of its energy supply for capital consumers, reported "Bakielektrikshebeke" Baku 's distribution network.

Electricity consumption has a tendency to rise considerably during a drop in temperature and bad weather conditions. "The new electric station will cover all deficits and maintain the appropriate network voltage," reported "Bakielektrikshebeke".

The 104 MWT station commenced work last week as part of a construction program with five similar stations in Azerbaijan , targeted to improve the country's energy supply. The Astara, Shaki and Khachmaz region and Nakhchivan AR experienced similar stations last year in which Finland 's Wartsila company realized the construction works.
