Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), stated during his meeting with Rudi Lamprekht, the officer of the German Company Siemens that SOCAR is going to expand cooperation with Siemens in such fields as telecommunications, health programs, and others.
SOCAR within the framework of the State program on socio-economic development of regions implements the construction of fault-finding centres, hospitals, clinics, and schools in more than ten regions of the country.
The fault-finding centres, which had been put in commission in the Lenkoran and Nakhchivan regions of Azerbaijan in 2006, were supplied with equipments of the Siemens brand.
