Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / The Ambassador of Brazil to Turkey and Azerbaijan, Cerasio Melantonio Netto, said at the meeting with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Rovnak Abdullayev, said that the Brazilian Petrobras Company is interested in the development of the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan.
Abdullayev said that by attracting foreign investments, SOCAR transformed the company into a modern international company investing in projects external to Azerbaijan. Presently SOCAR gives preference to the partners possessing new technologies and rendering real assistance in realizing complicated projects. SOCAR's head voiced his hope to meet with the representatives of Petrobras.
