Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January to June of 2007, the oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev (formerly Azerneftyanajag) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 75,650 tons of butane-butylene, an increase of 33%, a SOCAR source stated.
In January to June 2006, the volume of butane- butylene production equaled 56,940 tons, 18,710 tons less (32.9%) within the same period of this year. In 2006 the volume of butane- butylene production in Azerbaijan equaled 148,220 tons and in 2005 it was 129,620 tons
Last year, propane-propylene was not produced between January and June by this enterprise. In 2005 the volume of propane-propylene production equaled 3,020 tons.
