Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) announced that in June 2007 Salyan oil operating company gave the Government 24,400 tons of oil, which is 2.3% more compared to a similar period in 2006. Since the beginning of 2007 the company has given the Government 161,800 tons of oil.
Earlier, the company, which is involved in the development of the Kursangi-Garabaghli onshore field, announced the completion of a drilled well in the area. At present the Salyan Oil is making arrangements for drilling an additional well with a depth of 3,500m.
The Salyan Oil operating company set its 2007 budget for work at Kursangi-Garabaghli at a level of $43mln. This year there are plans to drill five exploitation wells with a project depth of 3,500 m.
