Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend / In January to July 2007, the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which is involved in the development of the Azeri- Chirag -Guneshli fields (ACG) has produced 19.72mln tons of Azeri Light oil, an increase of 7.7mln from January to July of 2006.
During this period, the Company produced a total of 4mln of oil on Chirag field, against 4.261mln tons in January-July 2006. The oil production on the Azeri field during the reported period made up 15.7mln tons, against 7.753mln tons in January-July 2006.
The oil production on the Chirag field in July comprised 527,524 tons compared to 557,292 tons in July 2006. The production on the Azeri field in July totaled 2.494mln tons, against 1.415mln in July 2006.
