Georgia, Tbilisi /corr Trend S.Aliyev / By the end of 2007 the Oil and Gas Construction Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will put 33.5-km section of gas line in Gardabani-Navtlugi in Georgia, a source stated in SOCAR. The Trust won the bid. The cost of project is $11.2mln.
Currently the Trust has began construction. A new pipeline with a diameter of 700mm will be constructed. Azerbaijan's construction company realizes several projects in Georgia. The company has already held rehabilitation of four sections of the northern gas line financed through 'Challenge of Millennium - Georgia' Project.
