Georgia, Tbilisi /corr Trend S.Aliyev / By the end of 2007, the Oil and Gas Construction Trust of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will have implemented a 33.5-km section of gas line in Gardabani-Navtlugi in Georgia, a SOCAR source reported. The Trust won the bid. The cost of project is $11.2mln.
The Trust has already begun construction. A new pipeline with a diameter of 700mm will be constructed. Azerbaijan's construction company has already implemented several projects in Georgia. The company has already rehabilitated four sections of the northern gas line financed through the 'Challenge of the Millennium - Georgia' Project.
