Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Over the recent seven months, Azerenergy JSC has transferred AZN 44.8mln to the State budget of Azerbaijan, an increase of 3.3 times from the indicators of last year, a JSC source stated. In July, AZN 7mln was transferred to the State budget, which is 2.3 times more than the same period of last year.
The increase in the transfers resulted from the price increase for electricity at the beginning of January, as well as the installation of meters and the increase of payment collections for electricity supplied to the public.
