On Aug. 23-Sept. 22, liquidity in Iran exceeded 16.72 quadrillion rials (roughly $398.95 billion), Mehr News Agency reported citing the Central Bank of Iran.
Compared to Feb. 1-March 29, the current liquidity shows a 9.3 percent growth, the report said.
Meanwhile, compared to the same period of the previous year, liquidity grew 20.3 percent.
In the meantime, the share of money was 2.43 quadrillion rials (roughly $57.857 billion) and the share of fiat money was 14.28 quadrillion rials (roughly $340 billion). Compared to Feb. 1- March 29, the growth amounted to 25.2 and 7 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, compared to the same period of the previous year, there is a growth of 44.8 and 16.9 percent in money and fiat money, respectively.
