Direct tax revenues to Kazakhstan National Fund up by 60%

Direct tax revenues to Kazakhstan National Fund in 2018 amounted to 3.2 trillion tenge, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh media.

The revenues increased by 1.12 trillion tenge or 59.9 percent compared to 2017, according to the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan.

Such a significant increase in revenues in 2018 happened in the context of relatively high oil prices, as well as growth in oil production and exports.

The largest increase in revenues is observed for corporate income tax: by 591.5 billion tenge or 75.6 percent.

It should be noted that the western regions of Kazakhstan accounted for 92.2 percent of tax revenues in January-November 2018, and the Atyrau region accounted for almost half of all revenues.

Taking into account all revenues and expenditures of Kazakhstan National Fund, its total funds increased by 2,46 trillion tenge in 2018, up to 25,39 trillion tenge.
