Trend:

Tehran's predicted revenues for the next Iranian calendar year (starts on March 21, 2019) will be almost equal to half of Iran's total income.

"The prediction for total revenue of Tehran saw a 21 percent growth in next year`s budget plan compared to the current Iranian year`s budget plan (started on March 20, 2018),” said the Head of the Management and Planning Organization in Tehran Province Nematollah Torki, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The next year budget plan predicted $190 million worth of credit for Tehran province, which is 6 percent of the total cost of credits of all provinces, he said.

"Tehran will get 0.42 percent of credits for capex projects and 2 percent of credits for construction projects,” he said.

He noted that credits for capex projects in all provinces of Iran have increased by 2 percent in the next year’s budget plan, while Tehran’s share in these credits has dropped by 1.4 percent.

Ilam province holds the biggest share in the amount of credits per capita, while Tehran, Alborz and Isfahan provinces have the lowest share in the credits per capita in the next year’s budget.

Meanwhile, Tehran’s per capita income has the biggest share in the country, with the population of 13.5 million that is equal to 18 percent of country's population, according to the report.
