In June 2019 foreign exchange reserves of National Fund of Kazakhstan increased by $303 million in a month and amounted to $86.6 billion, Trend reports referring to LS news agency.
“As at June 1, 2019 the assets volume of National Fund amounted to $58.6 billion, whereas the gross foreign exchange reserves equaled $28.03 billion,” the report said.
Furthermore, the biggest ($88.8 billion) volume of foreign exchange reserves was observed in January 2019, whereas the minimal ($86.02 billion) volume was noted in March 2019.
“Assets of national Fund increased by $662 million since the beginning of the year, whereas gross foreign exchange reserves volume, in contrast, decreased $2.3 billion,” the statement said.
Furthermore, during 1Q2019 the volume of foreign exchange reserves of Kazakhstan exceeded $86 billion, whereas during last year this volume decreased by $70 million and equaled to $88.63 billion.
