Specialists of the tax authorities of Uzbekistan have studied the experience of Turkey in the field of tax administration, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
To study the experience of tax administration, a group of employees of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan and its territorial divisions visited Turkey. They studied the work of Turkish colleagues in several directions.
”The Turkish tax administration experience really deserves close attention for study. Indeed, Turkey has one of the highest rates of automation of tax administration and increased tax collection,” head of the secretariat of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Holbut Ismatov said.
Specialists got acquainted with the structure and tasks of the tax authorities of Turkey.
Turkish colleagues demonstrated the work of the Risk Analysis software module, which is able to segment taxpayers while processing 66 criteria at the same time.
Employees of the Revenue Department revealed to Uzbek colleagues mechanisms to prevent tax evasion by adding value by concealing the real value of goods. They talked about the use of IT-solutions in tax control.
Through a special website, trading platforms provide information to the tax authorities about each transaction committed in electronic commerce (more than 90 million transactions per year).
