State forecast sees 5-percent economic growth for Georgia

The Georgian government set a forecast for economic growth of five percent according to the draft state budget for 2020, Trend reports citing the website of the Georgian government.

The target inflation rate is three percent.

Tax revenues amounted to 10.320 billion lari, grants - 200 million lari, other income - 515 million lari. The forecast volume of payments amounted to 14.211 billion lari.

Next year, according to the forecasts of the Georgian government, the country's external debt will increase by 1.855 billion lari and domestic debt will increase by 900 million lari.

In general, by the end of 2020, public debt will reach 45 percent of GDP. By the end of 2020, public debt will amount to 22.681 billion lari, of which 17.711 billion lari - external debt and 4.970 billion lari – domestic debt.
