Georgian Stock Exchange sells over 3,000 shares of Georgian banks

The Georgian Stock Exchange sold 3,348 shares of Georgian Liberty Bank and Bank of Georgia for a total of 8,748 lari ($2,953) in the week of Oct 7-13, Trend reports citing the Georgian media outlets.

During the auction last week, a relatively large deal was recorded, and 90,200 shares of Cotton Yarn LLC were sold for 267,000 lari ($90,137). As for USD trading, 106 bonds of Georgian Leasing Company LLC were sold for $107,000, and both transactions made trading relatively solid.

From October 7, 2019, real estate bonds with the code M204J were withdrawn from trading due to the end of the maturity of securities.

The stock market index in Georgia has halved since September 10. His current rating is 89 points.
