Kazakhstan's State Revenue Committee to expand online services

Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee is implementing work on systematic automation and optimization of public services offered by the committee, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the committee.

Thus, the committee in planning to make 80 percent of the provided public services available online before the end of 2019. By the end of 2020 the committee is planning to increase this number to 90 percent.

“Making public services available online will first and foremost minimize contacts with tax payers, reduce human factor and allow to distantly control timeframes of services provided,” the report said.

Furthermore, of 45 public services offered by the Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee some 34 of the services are available online, which accounts for 75 percent.

According to the committee, total number of the services implemented by the committee during first nine months of 2019 was 16.5 million services, some 90.6 percent (14.9 million services) of which were implemented online.

In accordance to the order of Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the country launched the implementation of the Third Modernization program, the core of which lies in digitalization. Furthermore, Digital Kazakhstan state program is also being implemented in the country, which consists of 17 initiatives a five main strategies.

Digital Kazakhstan state program is a significant complex program, aiming on the elevation of living standards of country’s residents, using digital technologies.

The major goals of the program have accelerated economy growth of of Kazakhstan and have upgraded the living standards, as well as have created conditions for transition on a fundamentally new pathway – future digital economy.
