Over 80% of all exports via “single window” system in Azerbaijan account for 3 countries

From January through October 2019, more than half (52 percent) of all product exports through the “single window” system in Azerbaijan accounted for exports to Switzerland, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijan’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

Products worth 62.5 million manat ($36.8 million) were exported to Switzerland through this system, according to the report.

Export to Russia accounted for about 17.3 percent in the amount of 20.4 million manat ($12 million). Products worth 15.6 million manat ($9.2 million) were exported to Georgia, which makes 13.1 percent of total exports. The volume of exports to Turkey amounted to 12.1 million manat ($7.1 million, or 10.25 percent), to Kazakhstan – 849,300 manat ($500,621, or 0.7 percent). The share of other countries accounted for 6.8 million manat ($4 million, or 5.8 percent).

In general, from January through October 2019, products worth 111.6 million manat ($65.8 million) were exported through the “single window” system.

In October, goods worth 18.1 million manat ($10.6 million) were exported through the “single window” system, which amounted to a 27 percent increase on an annualized basis.
