The Turkmen parliament passed the law "On the state budget of Turkmenistan for 2020", Trend reports referring to the Turkmen government.
The revenue part of the budget will be generated mainly through such important industries as oil and gas, chemical industry, electric power industry, construction, etc.
The agro-industrial complex, transport and communications sectors, textile industry and food industry will be further developed.
Big investments are planned to be made for the implementation of large-scale national projects and programs, including those related to the transformation of the village, the implementation of the urban development program in the capital and regions of the country, the construction of important social and cultural facilities.
Turkmenistan holds one of the key positions in the region in the supply of natural gas. Gas is exported to China and Russia.
