Retail sales volumes up by nearly 6% in Turkey

The retail sale volumes at fixed prices in Turkey increased by 5.9 percent in October 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year, Trend reports referring to the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute.

The sales volumes of food, beverages and tobacco grew by 0.2 percent, non-food items (excluding motor fuel) grew by 9.2 percent, motor fuel - by 5.8 percent.

The retail sales volumes at current prices not related to calendar effects in October 2019 increased by 13.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.

The sales volumes of food, beverages and tobacco grew by 16.1 percent, non-food items (except for motor fuel) - by 16 percent, motor fuel increased by 5.4 percent.

The retail sales volumes at fixed prices not related to seasonal and calendar effects in October 2019 decreased by 0.2 percent, sales volumes of food, beverages and tobacco, non-food items (except for motor fuel) and sales volumes of motor fuel declined by 0.2 percent compared to the previous month.

The retail sales volumes at current prices not related to seasonal and calendar effects in October 2019 increased by one percent compared to the previous month.

The sales volumes of food, beverages and tobacco grew by 1.2 percent in the same month, non-food items (excluding motor fuel) grew by 0.5 percent, motor fuel grew by 1.9 percent.
