Assets of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) amounted to 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion) in 2019, having increased by 16.3 percent compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports referring to IBA.
More than a quarter of all assets (25.7 percent) accounted for the bank’s loan portfolio, reaching 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion). The increase in the loan portfolio for the year reached 450 million manat ($264.7 million), or 23.4 percent.
The capital of the IBA for 2019 also slightly increased and reached 1.1 million manat ($664,705).
Last year, after several years of a pause, the bank first paid dividends worth 150 million manat ($88.2 million) to its shareholders.
