Liquidity in Iran increases

The liquidity in Iran increased by 31.3 percent in the 12th month of last Iranian year (February 20 - March 19, 2020), compared to the same month of the preceding Iranian year (February 21 - March 20, 2019), Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to statistics, the liquidity was 24.7 quadrillion rials (about $588 billion) in the 12th month of the last Iranian year.

“Last year, the share of money in liquidity in Iran was 4.2 quadrillion rials (about $101 billion),” the report said.

“The share of quasi-money in liquidity was 20.4 quadrillion rials (about $486 billion),” statistic noted.
