Azerbaijan's PASHA Kapital increases its investments

The total assets of Azerbaijan’s leading investment company Pasha Kapital surged by 4.6 times in 2019 compared to the previous year, Trend reports on June 29 with reference to the company’s annual audit report.

According to the company, its total assets grew by 9.9 million manat ($5.8 million), reaching 12 million manat ($7 million).

Most of the assets, nearly 67.6 percent, accounted for investments in securities, the volume of which spiked by almost 6 times, reaching 8.1 million manat ($4.7 million). More than 30.6 percent of the whole loan portfolio accounted for cash, the total volume of which rose by 3.7 times on an annualized basis, up to 3.6 million manat ($2.1 million).

In addition, 0.2 percent of the whole loan portfolio accounted for trade and other acquisitions, the volume of which decreased by 3 times compared to 2018.

In the structure of long-term liabilities, property and equipment amounted to 47,500 manat ($27,900 million). Intangible assets grew by 8 percent, having made up 67,750 manat ($39,850). Advance payments amounted to slightly over 29,700 manat ($17,470).

The company has been operating in Azerbaijan since 2012.
