Data on transactions in national currency on Turkmen State Commodity Exchange in July 2020

The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered transactions inr the national currency in the amount of more than 177.4 million Turkmen manat ($50,5 million) in July 2020, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.

In the first week of July, transactions in the national currency in the amount of 53.3 million Turkmen manat ($15.2 million) were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan.

During the second week of July, transactions worth 17.8 million Turkmen manat (over $5) were concluded on the exchange of Turkmenistan in the national currency.

Transactions worth 31 million Turkmen manat ($8.8 million) were concluded on the country's exchange in the national currency in the third week of the month.

As for the fourth week of July, transactions in the national currency in the amount of 73.3 million Turkmen manat ($20.9 million) were registered on exchange.

During the week beginning in late July and ending in early August (from July, 27 through August, 3), transactions in the amount of 1,767 million manat ($503,8 million) were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan for the national currency.

As reported, The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered transactions for the national currency in the amount of more than 202,3 million Turkmen manat ($57,7 million) in June 2020.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
