Azerbaijan’s Azerpost LLC postal operator has joined the information search system of financial products and services of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), Trend reports referring to the CBA.
According to the CBA, Azerpost LLC, which provides a range of financial services to the population, has already connected to this information search system. Thus, this system (infobank.az) contains the corresponding information of Azerpost in the sections 'branches and departments', 'ATMs', 'payment terminals', and 'payment cards'.
In addition, work will further continue on inclusion in the ‘information search system of financial products and services’ of various financial institutions, including organizations offering banking and insurance products and services that facilitate digital access of the population to financial services and provide financial inclusiveness of these services.
According to the ‘Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Financial Services in Azerbaijan’ approved by the decree of Azerbaijan’s president in 2016, work continues to connect institutions providing financial services to a single ‘information search system’.
