The value of investments made on the basis of licenses to Iran’s Markazi Province increased by 230 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20 - September 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Saeed Jafari said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
According to Jafari, the licenses were issued to the launch of 164 enterprises with an investment of 15.3 trillion rials (about $365 million).
“With the launch of these enterprises, 2,080 people were employed,” he added.
The chairman emphasized that at the same time, the licenses were issued to the establishment of 401 enterprises in the Markazi Province for 6 months.
Jafari noted that with an investment of 61.5 trillion rials (about $1.46 billion) to these enterprises, 8,370 people will be employed.
