Foreign citizens spent 354.2 million manat ($208.3 million) in Azerbaijan through bank cards in the past nine months of 2020, which is 2.7 times decrease compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to the review, in September this year, foreigners made transactions with bank cards in the amount of 25.6 million manat ($15 million), which is 4.1 times less than in the same month of last year, and 4.5 times less than in 2018.
In 2019, foreign citizens spent 1.257 billion manat ($739.4 million) in Azerbaijan through bank cards, and a year earlier 1.278 billion manat ($750 million).
