The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Azerbaijan increased by 2.8 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The CPI for food, drinks, and tobacco products rose by 5.1 percent, non-food products - by 1.3 percent, and the paid services to the population - by 1 percent.
The CPI in the country grew by 0.2 percent in October 2020 compared to September 2020 and by 2.3 percent compared to October of last year.
