Iran reveals data on foreign investments in Razavi Khorasan Province

A total of $106 million worth of foreign investments were made for the implementation of 23 projects in the Razavi Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) during the first 8 months of the current Iranian year (from March through November 20, 2020), Director General for Economic Affairs and Finance Department of the province, Hossein Amir Rahimi told IRNA, Trend reports.

Amir Rahimi said that $93.8 million worth of foreign investments were made in the construction sector of the province.

“In addition, $7.66 million worth of investments were made in the industrial sector, $2.93 million worth in the transport sector, $1.04 million worth in the agricultural sector, and $940,000 worth in service sector,” he added.

The director-general emphasized that these investments were made by investors from Iraq, Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan.

Amir Rahimi noted that at the same time, it is estimated to be invested $42 million in Razavi Khorasan Province.
