Nominal income of Azerbaijani population down

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population decreased from January through November 2020 compared to the corresponding indicator of last year, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the nominal income of the Azerbaijani population from January through November 2020 amounted to 50.2 billion manat ($29.5 billion), which is by 1.3 percent less than in the same period of last year.

Over the past year, the nominal income per capita in Azerbaijan decreased by two percent and amounted to 5.029 manat ($2.958).

The nominal volume of GDP in the country amounted to 64.7 billion manat ($38.05 billion) from January through November 2020, which is by 4.3 percent less than in the same period of last year.

In accordance with the statistics, the volume of GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 45.4 billion manat ($26.7 billion) from January through November 2020, which is by 2.9 percent less than in the same period of last year.

GDP per capita from January through November 2020 amounted to almost 6,485.7 manat ($3,815.1). GDP per capita decreased by five percent from January through November 2020 compared to the same period of last year.
