Share of tax revenues in Azerbaijan's 2021 state budget forecasted

The forecast revenues from the non-oil sector to the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2021 will make up 11.65 billion manat ($6.85 billion) or 45.8 percent of total revenues, Trend reports referring to the ministry.

According to the ministry, this figure is 1.5 billion manat ($880 million) or 15 percent more compared to this year and 1.04 billion manat ($610 million) or 9.8 percent more than in 2019.

As reported, 5.67 billion manat ($3.34 billion) or 48.7 percent of state budget revenues in the non-oil sector will account for tax revenues, and 33.5 percent or 3.9 billion manat ($2.3 billion) – for customs revenues. Transfers from the Fund for Securing Obligations on Public Debt and Guarantees will make up 880 million manat ($517.6 million) or 7.6 percent, and deductions from the profit of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan - 250 million manat ($147 million) or 2.1 percent. The remaining 947 million manat ($557 million) or 8.1 percent will account for other revenues.

From the unpaid part of the free balance of profit worth 1 billion manat ($588.2 million) received by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in 2017, transferred to the Fund for Securing Obligations on Public Debt and Guarantees in accordance with the Law of Azerbaijan ‘On the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’, 880 million manat will be transferred to the 2021 state budget and referred to budget revenues.
