Foreign citizens spent 430.2 million manat ($253.05 million) in Azerbaijan through bank cards in 2020, which is by 65.7 percent less compared to 2019, Trend reports referring to the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
In accordance with the review, foreigners made transactions with bank cards in the amount of 27.9 million manat ($16.4 million) in December 2020, which is 69.9 percent less than in the same month of 2019.
Foreign citizens spent 1.2 billion manat ($705 million) through bank cards in Azerbaijan in 2019, which is by 1.8 percent less than in 2018.
Foreign citizens spent 1.3 billion manat ($764 million) through bank cards in 2018.
