The total volume of transactions on corporate securities at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) made up nearly 68.6 million manat ($40.3 million) from January through February 2021, Trend reports on Mar.3 citing the data of the BSE.
In total, 996 transactions were carried out in the reporting period. All of them accounted for the secondary market.
In particular, 929 shares worth 431,500 manat ($253,820) and 67 bonds worth over 68.1 million manat ($40 million) were sold.
Besides, 3 transactions accounted for the sale of mortgage bonds in the amount of 62.9 million manat ($37 million).
The total capitalization of the BSE on the last trading day of February 2021 made up more than 4.1 billion manat ($2.4 billion), up by 7 percent since early 2021.
