Iran's Bank Refah Kargaran unveils amount of issued loans

Iran's Bank Refah Karagan issued loans worth 3.1 trillion rials (about $73.9 million) to small and medium enterprises during the first 11 months of the current year (from March 20, 2020 through February 18, 2021), Trend reports citing the bank’s website.

According to the report, the bank also issued loans worth 598 trillion rials (about $14.2 billion) to agriculture, industry and mining, construction, services, trade and other sectors.

In addition, the bank issued 13,200 loans worth 4.52 trillion rials (about $107 million) in employment and entrepreneurship areas over the reporting period, the report said.

“The Bank Refah Karagan has issued loans worth 1.72 trillion rials (about $40.9 million) in 11 months within contracts with the National Development Fund of Iran,” the report said.
