Nominal income of Azerbaijani population decreases

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population from January through February 2021 decreased by 4.2 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2020 and amounted to 7.9 billion manat ($4.6 billion), Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee's report.

The nominal income per capita decreased by 4.7 percent, up to 797.8 manat ($469.3) from January through February 2021.

The nominal volume of GDP amounted to 12.02 billion manat ($7.07 billion), which is by 3.2 percent less than from January through February 2020.

During the reporting period, GDP in the non-oil sector amounted to 7.6 billion manat ($4.5 billion), which is by 0.4 percent less than from January through February 2020.

GDP per capita amounted to 1,201.6 manat ($706.8), decreasing by 4.9 percent compared to the same period of 2020.

The income of the population after payment of all compulsory and voluntary payments amounted to 7.1 billion manat ($4.2 billion), which is also by 4.9 percent less than from January through February 2020.
