A total of 6.47 trillion rials (about $154 million) worth of loans were issued to export enterprises in Iran from May 21, 2020 to February 18, 2021, Trend reports citing the statistics of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the statistics, these loans were issued to 48 export enterprises within the mentioned period.
“However, the names of 136 enterprises were announced to Iranian banks for issuance of loans worth 23.3 trillion rials (about $555 million) over the reporting,” the statistics said.
Reportedly, according to the statistics of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), Iranian banks issued loans worth a total of about 16 quadrillion rials (about $382 billion) in various sectors over the first 11 months of the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2021 through February 18, 2021). This an increase of 96.2 percent compared to the same period preceding the Iranian year.
