Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan sees increase in investments in fixed assets

Over 191.5 million manat ($112.6 million) was allocated to fixed assets from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan from January through March 2021, Trend reports citing the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.

As reported, the given figure increased by 1.1 percent year on year.

The GDP of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan in the first quarter of this year rose by 0.6 percent compared to the first quarter of last year and amounted to 557.4 million manat ($327.8 million), said the report.

According to the committee, from January through February 2021, 1.34 billion manat ($788.2 million) were allocated to fixed assets from all financial sources for the development of the socio-economic sphere of Azerbaijan, which is 32 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
