Kazakhstan’s Kazakhtelecom JSC is looking to pay out dividends on simple shares for 2020, Trend reports citing the company’s statement at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
The company’s the Board of Directors of the Company has recommended that the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) pay dividends based on the results of 2020 in the amount of 30 percent of the consolidated net income.
The proposed date for fixing the list of shareholders entitled to receive dividends for 2020 is as of 00:00 (GMT +6) on May 2, 2021.
The proposed start date for dividend payments is the next business day after the date of fixing the list of shareholders entitled to receive dividends for 2020, within one month.
Payment of dividends will be made with the involvement of a paying agent - Central Securities Depository JSC. The decision on this issue is subject to approval by the shareholders of the Company at the AGM, which is scheduled for April 30, 2021.
Kazakhtelecom is the largest telecommunications company in Kazakhstan, has the status of a national telecommunications operator.
