Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan unveils volume of allocations to fixed assets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 14

Around 406.2 million manat ($238.9 million) was directed to fixed assets from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan from January through May 2021, which is 0.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the report of Azerbaijan’s State Statistical Committee.

At the same time, the GDP of the autonomous republic also increased by 0.4 percent on annual basis and surpassed 1.02 billion manat ($600 million).

In the first five months of 2021, 4.91 billion manat ($2.88 billion) were directed to the development of the socio-economic sphere of Azerbaijan from all financial sources, which is 5.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
