The volume of repatriation (export) of capital from Azerbaijan has grown in the first quarter of 2021, Trend reports referring to the data of the payment balance of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the data, this indicator exceeded $1.27 billion, which is an increase of 29.1 percent on annual basis.
Besides, the volume of net financial liabilities in the oil and gas sector in the reporting period decreased by $28.5 million due to the difference between attracted investments in the amount of $1.25 billion and repatriation of capital worth over $1.27 billion.
In 2020, the volume of repatriation (export) of capital from Azerbaijan grew up to $4.47 billion, thus having risen by 38.8 percent.
