Certain loans issued to increase production in Iran

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21

More than 23.5 trillion rials (about $560 million) worth of loans were issued in Iran in order to increase production during the first two months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through May 21, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

According to the statistics, these loans were issued to 628 small and medium enterprises, as well as, the enterprises, which have more than 60-percent physical progress in construction.

“The owners of 1,250 manufacturing enterprises in Iran and the enterprises with more than 60 percent progress in construction applied to receive loans over the reporting period,” the statistics said.

Furthermore, the names of 426 more enterprises were announced to the banks for providing of loans worth 34.4 trillion rials (about $819 million), the statistics said.
