Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee discloses receipts in fixed assets for 1H2021

Some 5.9 billion manat ($3.5 billion) were allocated to the fixed capital from all financial sources for the development of Azerbaijan’s socio-economic sphere from January through June 2021, which is by 7.6 percent less than in the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the data from the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

Some 4.06 billion manat $2.4 billion (68.7 percent of funds) in the structure of investments accounted for the production areas, 1.4 billion manat $823 million (23.4 percent) - in service areas, 469 million manat $275,882 (7.9 percent) - for construction of houses.

Investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.8 percent while in the non-oil sector - by 11.3 percent.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 3.6 billion manat ($2.1 billion), or 61 percent of funds allocated to the fixed assets, accounted for domestic funds. Some 3.9 billion manat ($2.3 billion), or 66.5 percent, out of the funds allocated to the fixed assets accounted for construction and installation work.

Some 60.4 percent accounted for fixed capital in the total value of capital investments of enterprises and organizations, 19.1 percent - budgetary funds, 7.2 percent - private funds, six percent - bank loans and 7.3 percent - other funds.
