Iran provided loans worth 15.8 trillion rials (about $378 million) to the manufacturing enterprises during the first four months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports citing the report of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to the report, these loans were issued to 174 manufacturing enterprises.
A total of 372 manufacturing enterprises were registered to receive loans within 4 months. The enterprises have applied to receive loans worth 3.62 trillion rials (about $86.3 million).
“From February 20, 2019 to July 22, 2021, about 7,800 manufacturing enterprises were registered to receive loans. Of these, the names of 2,730 enterprises were announced to banks for issuance of loans worth 203 trillion rials (about $4.84 billion),” the report said.
Within the mentioned period, about 1,500 enterprises received loans worth 98 trillion rials (about $2.33 billion).
