The volume of remittances from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan amounted to 3,000 transactions totaling 1.1 billion tenge ($2.8 million) in July 2021, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK).
The share of Azerbaijan in the total amount of money transfers from Kazakhstan to other countries amounted to 1.3 percent, the NBK said.
So, the number of transactions for July 2021 decreased by 3.2 percent as compared to June 2021, and the amount - by 13.4 percent.
Reportedly, the number of transactions in July rose 25 percent compared to January, while the amount decreased by 0.9 percent.
From January through July 2021, 19,500 transactions totaling over 8.5 billion tenge ($1.9 million) were carried out within the transfer of funds from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.
In July 2021, within the remittances from Kazakhstan abroad through the international money transfer systems, 233,000 transactions worth over 92 billion tenge ($216.6 million) were carried out.
