Uzbek Agrobank signs agreements with German, Russian banks

The Agrobank of Uzbekistan has signed a number of promising agreements with such banks as the German Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and the Russian PJSC Sovcombank and PJSC MKB, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek media.

The signing of an agreement took place at Uzbekistan Economic Forum 2021 currently being held in Tashkent.

The event was held with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, which was attended by international companies.

The forum discussed and analyzed the experience of economic reforms in Uzbekistan over the past five years, including promising ideas for the further development of the economy. Attention was also paid to the development of the capital market and the transformation of state-owned banks.

Earlier, Trend reported that the National Bank of Uzbekistan and PJSC Sovcombank of Russia signed a general agreement on attracting a credit line in the amount of $50 million

Moreover, Uzbek National Bank and German Deutsche Bank A.G. signed a loan agreement to attract a credit line in the amount of $100 million
