BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 6. The number of money transfers from Russia to Kazakhstan amounted to 15,200 transactions for a total of 1.6 billion tenge ($3.4 million) in January 2022, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
According to the National Bank, Russia's share in the total number of transactions to Kazakhstan amounted to 28.2 percent.
The number of transactions from Russia to Kazakhstan decreased by 55 percent, compared to December 2021.
At the same time, the number of transactions from Russia to Kazakhstan decreased by 60.5 percent, compared to January 2021.
Money transfers to Kazakhstan as a whole amounted to 53,800 transactions in the total sum of 13.5 billion tenge ($29.1 million) in January 2022.
