Total liabilities of VTB Bank Azerbaijan up in 1Q2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Total liabilities of VTB Bank Azerbaijan increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the balance sheet, this figure amounted to 129 million manat ($75.8 million), up by 8.78 million manat ($5.16 million) or 7.3 percent on annual basis.

A significant share (48.52 percent) in the structure of liabilities in the first quarter of this year accounted for deposits, which settled at 62.6 million manat ($36.8 million). At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the mentioned structure equaled 21.23 percent. The deposits amounted to over 13.2 million manat ($7.7 million).

Meanwhile, the share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of VTB Bank Azerbaijan made up 78.77 percent. These deposits equaled 49.3 million manat ($29 million).

The bank's liabilities to credit organizations and other financial institutions amounted to 15.8 million manat ($9.3 million), having increased by 0.57 percent compared to 1Q2021.

Besides, the bank's liabilities to the Central Bank and state funds amounted to 39.5 million manat ($23.2 million), and other liabilities - 11.06 million manat ($6.5 million), which is a growth of 108.6 percent on annual basis.

The share capital of VTB Bank Azerbaijan amounted to 315.8 million manat ($185.7 million) in the first quarter of 2022, remaining unchanged over the year.

Capital reserves of the bank stood at over 1.6 million manat ($940,000), thus having grown by 48.74 percent year on year.

VTB Bank Azerbaijan’s total capital in 1Q2022 amounted to 74.19 million manat ($43.64 million), up by 15.69 percent on annual basis.
